CrossFTP is a free FTP client, developed in Java, that includes features like a tab system to establish various connections at the same time, a site manager to store connection data, and a history function that remembers the last places you visited.
It also allows you to change the permissions of the files stored on the server, includes an anti-idle function so that you can avoid being disconnected due to inactivity, and supports the PRET command, which is necessary for uploading files to distributed FTP servers.
You can perform operations from the command line, batch upload and download files, and filter files by extension. The PRO version of CrossFTP allows you to transfer files to storage systems like Amazon S3, iDisk/WebDAV, SFTP, and FXP.
